Faliro, press conference?

Faliro, Fejsa hasn't been missed at Piraeus has he? What position and role did he play as there? He has played as defensive midfielder here always. I remember you saying that he wasn't very convincing at Olympiakos but he sure knows how to wreck opposition plays and lock our gate. A shame he's made of glass.

For us he was not very good. And you must remember, he was playing against teams far weaker than teams currently in Portugal. He was constantly injured and I was glad to see him go. Having said that, he was rated as a good player with plenty of potential constantly. I just didn't see it and neither did Olympiacos management. He clearly evolved at Benfica as some players do. I was sadder to lose Samaris, but he never played as a DM for us, he played just behind the attack. The position he plays at Benfica has been a massive learning curve for him. No Greek team would put him in such an important role (well besides Panionios..).

Did Samaris sometimes used to have brain stops at Olympiakos?

Fejsa is top quality! Destroys everything the opponent attacks and his own muscles and bones

Nope. In Greece to play a DM who has the game in front of him you have to be very reliable. Samaris was never trusted for that position. The Maniatis type is the sort of player who gets trusted to those positions. Samaris was always played in an advanced midfield position, box to box - with little pressure and room for creativity and attack.

As for Fejsa, he was always injured - when he played he would get injured, in training he would get injured.. poor genetics in his legs. Just unlucky.

In Benfica Samaris even with out pressure can miss a simple pass! Sometimes his brain just stops. But he his a cool guy and gives his best.

But Fejsa is a machine! And since he started his career always was a champion. Nevermind the injuries that guy with heavy metal hair but listens to David Guetta just gives luck
