Martins was smart not to say much. Was very measured. Was also smart to mention players on loan like Tsimikas (highly talented LB), Manthatis and Siopis - all of whom in reality should have been playing for Olympiacos this season.

There was a nervousness not often seen in Olympiacos press conferences. If Martins fails - Karembeu is out I think as this was his decision.

Olympiacos will go to Austria to train this summer as usual. Martins has a choice to make concerning players. Pick the right ones - he can win the league. Pick the wrong ones..

Deyverson was a meme with us but actually turned out an ok player. Haven't followed him since he went back to Brasil.

Dourado was a flop at Vitória (Martins trained him there) but has been a goalscorer since he went back to Brasil. Really don't know what to make of him.

Hernandez would be a very decent signing.

Honestly.. most these names seem very average. As you said Hernandez looks decent although I have not see him play and he does play in the Championship.. seems to be strong enough to score well in Greece. The other players just seem betas..

Have very little faith in Modesto and Karembeu. Lets hope Mohammed Camara from Ajaccio impresses.
