why don´t you loan Semedo for 3M like Benfica does?

10 million for Semedo was a fair price. Also I am not sure Benfica being so protective over Tomas helped either. Seems Semedo now wants to stay at Oly but could be wrong.
Jesus told the press today that Semedo want's to come but that Oly hasn't made things easy.

This could be true. Last I read Martins sat down with Semedo and Semedo decided he wanted to stay. He has been in the starting 11 every game so far and looked happy. Could all be a game however.

If I were to guess I think Semedo would be happy at Benfica. I think he would not mind continuing at Oly either.

Oly are very easy to sell players - esp CBs. I think in this case Benfica wanted a cheap price and were too protective over Tomas. Tomas ended up at Alaves when he could have CL football at Oly in a squad consisting of mostly Portuguese and a Portuguese coach. I suspect Benfica were not hot on giving the RB to Oly. So Oly signed Dräger in response and now there is not much left to negotiate. Seems Benfica wanted Semedo but for well under 10 million and with no quid pro quo deal that Martins liked.

As the Spanish say: No se toman truchas a bragas enjutas.

This is my best guess.

Faliro, what do you have to say about the allegations that Olympiakos' president is the Godfather of Athens, being the leader of a total mafia?

And that witnesses that are contesting him run out of the country, or some may even end up getting killed?

Don't believe any of it.  When you actually read the allegations in detail you can see they are fantasy. However these allegations are key in PAO, AEK and PAOK distracting their fans away from the fact that they spend a fraction of what Olympiacos does on players and therefore has a fraction of the success. All these allegations have been dismissed. Olympiacos is the one that championed foreign refs in Greece, constantly reports the corrupt EPO to FIFA and also has the best behaved fans. AEK are run by a man who illegally bought OPAP off the Greek Government and has directly threatened the lives of various business men and members of the press.

Want your opinions.

Olympiacos scored the winning goals vs PAS last night in the last minutes. The goal was ruled offside after 3 minutes of VAR consultations. Oly player in red, PAS defender in blue. No one could understand how Hassan was offside. This was the original VAR shot used for the game:

and this was the new doctored one the Ref association released this morning to prove El Arabi was offside:

Today the KED, along with the new doctored photo, said El Arabi's head and shoulder were offside.

Thoughts?

the decision is correct... head and shoulder count

Where is the last point of offside on the defender's body? VAR drew it through his head, not through his shoulder or arm.

arm does not count
only shoulder because you can play it with the ball!

This is the whole point. Why is the line not drawn through the last defender's shoulder?

Also the angle of the line absurd anyway.

Covenant

I think that's offside.

Tough one.

Tough one.

So a defender's head is the offside line, not a defender's shoulder? The line is drawn directly through the defender's head.

The KED stated clearly El Arabi's head and shoulder were offside.

Insigne

Both great additions for your club.

The first one is a bit surprising.
