No idea who Makto is. Seems a calculated gamble.
Didn't want Sokratis who is a liability and I don't rate him. Cisse imo is miles better - who we had to let go for Sokratis.

I have to congratulate Pedro Martins for his trajectory at Olympiacos. I think he is already the second coach in the history of the club with the most games and victories. Just behind Dušan Bajević. Being in the top5 of the coaches with more time in charge.

Yes, I can confirm it.

I met the guy too in a restaurant - Karembeu took the picture of us! A complete professional, nice guy and gentleman. I am proud to have him at the club. He has the same sort of win ratio as Valverde and Michel. He is very good at his job and one must remember - as a manager - you have a lot thrown at you outside of your control and it is how you cope with those things that make the truly great stand out.

When he first came to Olympiacos - I was unsure about him because of what a lot of Benfiquistas said about him. I suspect that the Olympiacos environment and facilities enhanced him and he grew even more as a manager. He rotates the squad very well, his lineups are usually very attacking and he has passion for the game. I think he is enjoying in Athens too.

Pepe sent on loan to Famalicao to try and find some form. Martin's believes in him but he is not producing. Martins was screaming instructions to him a few weeks ago when he finally got a start.
