I dont want to be disrespectful  but you're not wrong....I mean, in the big european games his attitude wasnt good,  when Benfica was losing he was like "ok I give up", this is just my feeling though

Tacuara has is own style. You see him play when? Last season, in the Europa League? At that time he was coming back from a severe injury. Anyway, he was a very important player for Benfica in these last years. Scored in many decisive games, both in Portugal and in Europe. Marked an era in Benfica, will never be forgotten.

Yes his attitude was bad in Europe League Final but we Benfica fans, we can not erase seven years just because of a penalty. He is the best foreign scorer in history of Benfica, Benfica have 110 years old!

He will always be a legend of our club, Cardozo!

Well I think he has played against olympiakos a few times, looked invisible. I saw a couple of other Europa games with Benfica, can't remember which, it was only to pass the time. But I did notice he was rubbish.

That is not to say he is rubbish in his 7 years or he is not a legend to you. It's just every time I have seen him play I have been thankful he never came to Greece, not that he ever would because no one could afford him anyway.

Well, we cannot judge a player by 2 or 3 games. In a club founded in 1904, we have had thousands of scorers. Here is the rank of Cardozo (source: http://em-defesa-do-benfica.blogspot.pt/)

Overall: 12th (with 198 goals, Eusébio 1st with 638)
Portuguese league: 10th (with 112 goals, Eusébio 1st with 317)
... EUROPE: 2nd (with 34 goals, Eusébio 1st with 57 goals)

So, he is far from being rubbish. Some fans didn't like his style. I sometimes didn't like his lack of focus in the game, but I recognize story when I see it, since I'm watching Benfica live since 1978. Didn't start yesterday, and fortunately I have see lots of good players with our glorious red shirt on.

By the way, some fans didn't like Nené that was my idol when I was young, for the same reasons. He is 3rd in the overall rank with 473 goals... So, between opinions and facts there is not much to decide.
