Samaris had a promising first season and now Vitória wants to make him a leader on the pitch. He's probably a future captain if he stays around in the next few years and Luisão retires meanwhile.

Karagounis was a good player but didn't stay for very long. Katsouranis had some good and also some awful games where he just didn't seem to give a shit. He also had a fight with Luisão during practice back in 2007/2008, I think.

I was part of the madness. I made about 10 posts in that thread up until 2 am. I laughed my ass off when the plane seemed to fly past Lisbon and some Benfiquistas panicked.
