It always amuses me...people coming to the forum of the team they do not support (but its staunch rival), and concocting all sorts of elaborate stories to pass themselves off as authentic :buck2:

You got PAOK heading your way after Fener?

PAOK or Dinamo Moscow, due to the fact that Ukrainian and Russian clubs don't face each other to avoid problems...

I'm not sure if there is much truth to these " separation rumours", because we could play Dinamo Zagreb in the play-off phase.

League Path

The four League Path winners of the third qualifying round. Since Ukrainian and Russian teams are kept apart by UEFA and draw of Play-off round of League Path will be held before teams are determined, the winner of match involving Benfica will face the winner of match involving PAOK (because it plays against Russian team Spartak Moscow) and, respectively, the winner of match involving Dynamo Kyiv will face the winner of match involving Ajax.

He will be the starting goalkeeper for the season, 100%. He's doing very well.

He still has to be tested in a meaningful way but from the very little I saw of him I think it's clear why he was signed.

He has incredible speed and he's technically very good, his stance is almost always perfect. He's very good at 1s vs 1s and at playing with a high line, which is probably the most important attribute in a Big 3 goalkeeper here in Portugal.

My only concern about him is how he responds to crosses, since he seems to prefer staying in his line way too much, probably because of his height. He has to improve massively on that if he wants to be a top GK.

I've been away from the forum a bit, what's your opinion on him? (feel free to link to a previous post you've already talked about him).

edit: okay I went to check and he's 1.91 lol. He doesn't look like it. Well, less of an excuse then.

I never understood the search function on this forum - so i will just say it again. I thought he was fairly average in Greece. Minor vampirism as you stated (fear of crosses) and good coming off his line. Average to good shot stoper depending on the game. Was hard to judge him at PAO because playing for them last season was like working at a firing range.. In the right environment - maybe he can be good. I thought you bought him to sell on. Maybe Benfica can work their magic on him and make him something special.
