O seleccionador de Itália, Roberto Menichelli, chamou esta sexta-feira Rodolfo Fortino aos trabalhos da selecção italiana presente no UEFA Futsal Euro 2018.

O pivot do Sporting não tinha sequer entrado na primeira pre-convocatória de 25 jogadores mas é a aposta de Menichelli para substituir Gabriel Lima que se lesionou já no final do empate contra a Sérvia na estreia da competição.

Fortino vai assim juntar-se ao colega de equipa Alex Merlim na equipa italiana.

Recorde-se que após o empate inicial a Itália está obrigada a vencer ou empatar por mais de 2 golos contra a seleção da casa, Eslovénia, para garantir a passagem aos "quartos".
