Olympiacos Piraeus

Yea, second place, most likely AEK will get steamrolled.

As for interesting post on the Portuguese NT. The players turning up in their team kits?  ;D ;D ;D That is bad.

I can tell you that Santos admitted last year that when he left the dressing room was irrecoverably divided and there was no chance of reuniting it. Tzavellas, Katsouranis, Karagounis, et al on one side and Maniatis, Xolebas, Manolas in the other. The team is still divided. As you say, it needs a strong character. But also a genius, because there is also little talent in the Greek team to work with unlike the Portuguese NT.

figurativelly speaking, as far as I know. Not the actual jersey.

Fernando Santos is not the best of managers but a good presence to unite the locker room. In Portugal NT, he brought some players back that the previous manager had left out due to disciplinary problems.

Faliro

Santos in Greece seemed to sniff out favorites and then build the team around them like Mourinho did at Chelsea.

Interestingly Marco is someone who has avoided favorites to a large extent.

Abolish champions Play-Off.
There is no sense.

Clean Preliminarys, please.

Marco Alexandre Saraiva da Silva.
National champion in February.

Faliro,

I know the season isn't officially over yet but, in your opinion, who was the best manager of these three in Greece: Leonardo Jardim, Vítor Pereira or Marco Silva?

Both in terms of how the team played and the results that they got.

Congrats Faliro. You are champion today. Congrats MAAAARCOOO :slb2:

TFFS

How do you not fill the stadium on the day that you can become champions of your country? the players and manager deserved do be rewarded with the presence of the fans.

P.S. Panathinaikos has the ugliest anthem of the history. Wtf is that shit? How do they want to win trophies with that shitty anthem? it doesn't even motivate the players.

Faliro,

Jardim definitely plays a style I disliked in Piraeus, but I could not call him incompetent. However for me, he was the one that least impressed me.

Vitor and Marco are hard to separate in terms of quality. Marco perhaps a little more technically astute, Vitor a slightly better motivator and a more fearsome character to opposing teams. I would say out of all 3, if it is a must win game and everything is at stake, perhaps Vitor is the best of the 3 - but only marginally. All 3 have demonstrated a very good understanding of football while coaching in Greece.

As far as actual results go, hard to say simply because this year we didnt even get to play PAO in their stadium due to violence and Jardim wasn't round for that long. We also usually win most home games.

Simple. Olympiacos is champion every years.

I know but... if you fill the stadium in a game against Anderlecht, why don't you fill it in the day that you are going to celebrate? If Benfica was champion like Olympiakos is, almost every year, I would have crazy parties every year.

Fans disillusioned from Anderlecht. Plus we usually have a separate fiesta at the stadium each time we win.

I know. It sounds like a 1950s version of YMCA. Can only ever imagine such a tune motivating some children in a circus in the 1920s.

I was hoping Benfica were playing today, but it seems the game is tomorrow. So I am going to watch AEK vs PAO at 5.30. I hope for plenty of cards and problems. Simoes is turning out to be MVP for AEK this season.
