As for his qualities as a player, I have always thought that he was yet another combination of football agents. He played only 13 games for us, but other than Nikola Maksimovic, I can not remember a player who was making more silly blunders. you can see, his other clubs thought the same.

Can't speak for Stella - but my own opinion is he is limited. Has some good things. Good close control, excellent shooting - fairly good link up play. Annoyances are lack of pace, inconsistency and poor pressing.

I hold him in very high esteem as a player. If he came, he would dominate our league. On top of that, he is our life-long fan, which should help with his inconsistency problem, mentioned by Faliro. Also, he would have a defensive wall behind him, and a tractor like Jovicic, so his poor pressing will not be that much of a problem.

The problem? He wants 1 million euros at least. We can pay 600k or 800k, somehow...we have never paid anything like that for a player. Until sheikh Bin Zayed takes us over, we will not be able to do anything We are as poor as church mice, my friends.
