Something strange was going on with him in his last season in Russia. Wasn't training it seems.  Each game he plays he looks stronger. You are right also - has a very distinctive style and presence. I remember when he signed for PAOK years ago. Was easily the best CM in the league at the time.

His career here seems to be over, his contract expires this season and I don't think he's going to renew (at least while Rui Vitoria is here).

I think he has quality to play in a bigger team, his first seasons here have been very good.

He needs to be motivated and feel the confidence of the coach to perform.

A curious fellow he is.. he started playing so poorly for the Greek NT he was removed from the squad.. He seems to have regressed after that WC. Big shame - but he joins an army of Greek players who get worse rather than better in their mid 20s. He needed to take it to the next level but didn't and he also lacks concentration at key moments.

I think he could succeed in another team with the right coach too. He needs to be playing every week.

It appears we could be deducted points for this incident. I hope they take them from the Cup table and not the Super League table.

The fight seems to have started between actual Olympiacos fans but in reality I can guess that actually some Panaxaiki fans were in the number and outed leading to a fight. As soon as the riot police got involved the situation got worse.
