Is he a good coach?
He's been doing a pretty good job in Estoril, but he needs to move to a bigger club to prove his worth.

Marco Silva is quite good. I think he'll be brilliant...but I'm pretty sure that moving to Greece is going to be a step back. The thing is, that the 4 most interesting teams to manage in Portugal (Benfica, POrto, Sporting, Braga)...all of them have coaches to 2014/2015. Some people say he's gonna substitute Jesus at Benfica on a near future.

Faliro

Probably a lot will depend on if PAOK get into the CL next season.

Marco Silva seems a very good coach.
In this forum there are a lot of users whisshing him for us to be our coach.
I don't know if PAOK can be a good choice for him, in Greece seems impossible beat Olimpiakos, and when some portuguese goes to a championship like greek the people don't follow so much his work just the results.
But I like PAOK and I would like to see what he can do there. I think they have better team for the season that they did, but not very well organized. So with him I'm sure that they can do better. Probably not enough to win, but more close. But if eventually this happen can't have more doubts about him.

Godescalco

Marco Silva has quality.

But working in Greece is hard and the league is not that competitive. I'm not sure it would be a good career option for him right now, although PAOK is a big club.

I read some news in greek websites that the next coach of PAOK can be Sergio Conceição ;D
I met a lot of PAOK fans and they love him, for the times that he was playing there. He is very crazy guy and doesn't seem so bad as coach. But he is all the time causing disturbs during the games. Is a perfect combination with PAOK fans.

Yea, they love him over there..

it seems the more mental/crazy a player/coach is - the more the PAOKtzis can relate to them.. :2funny: :2funny:

So, apparently PAOK want Jardim...

Faliro

This story has not broken yet in Greece it seems. There should not be any trouble with that move, Jardim was not missed at Olympiakos..

Covenant

He did a pretty good job at Sporting this year. But seems to be a complicated guy. He left in a strange way in every club. Beira-Mar, Braga, Olympiakos, now if he left Sporting...

He's a hit and quitter.

Godescalco

Conceição would be a better bet for PAOK.

Former players, lots of nerve and charisma. He'd be a hit.

Faliro

PAOK love portuguese players. They worshipped Vieirinha and other portuguese who have been there. They would welcome Conceicao but I think Jardim will do well also, he also seems to hate olympiakos - so that alone will make him popular.

Godescalco

Speaking of Portuguese players, Thrylos have Machado. He's not bad.

But we already know that top Portuguese players are not likely to end up in Greece right now.

Faliro

Interestingly the most talented Portuguese player I think i ever saw play in Greece was Paulo Sousa.
