Georgatos, who left soon after Silva gave an interview today. He was asked why he and Silva left. He refused to say because he said all focus should be on the return game against Hapoel. However he did say someone played a very 'bad game' behind Silva and his back. We will probably get more details in a few weeks.

This season will be hard. AEK, PAOK and PAO (all made some strong signings) are more motivated than I have seen and Olympiacos is in pieces. Will be a very fierce championship. Plus Larissa are back to steal points off everyone. Real war this season.

Apparently in Greece the tax for each new player is now set at 140%. That means if you buy a player for €1 million, you must pay the Government €1.4 million. That explains why Greek teams concentrate on players who are out of contract.

Hi Faliro. How well do you know Tasos Karamanos? He signed an one year contract with Feirense, who'll play in First Division this year, on loan by Olympiacos.

I know him fairly well. A lot of buzz around this player - but I have never seen anything that makes me think he has value.

When Michel left Greece, he was asked a few questions. One of the questions was 'which player do you rate the most in the league?' He said Karamanos (and he was playing for Atromitos at the time..).
