And yes, it's a fair point you make about Flores, as Benfica is his first big club so it's not quite the same - but also as you say, changing managers so often is not good. Real Madrid and Chelsea seem determined to prove that this is true!

Anyway, we're all very very happy today because Rafa signed a new 5 year contract last night. He will have more control over which players we buy and also control of the youth academy now. Acho k o futuro vai ser bom!

Ouch.. that is what too many canecas de Sagres can do to me  and thank you for the spelling correction ^^ haha. Even tho' I can speak it ok-ish I don't write portuguese very well which is why I stay in this part of the forum!!

Anyway Benfiquistas I just wanted to come here to say Parabéns on winning the cup!! I have been watching the game and think Quim was fucking brilliant for the penalites. I can't believe the chance Nuno Gomes missed right at the start.. and even tho the penalty you won was....fortunate ...good teams usually create these lucky moments!! 


Just a random thought.. doesn't this Taça de Liga look like the world cup??


Also.. great day today for liverpool but I will say no more until we have played tomorrow!!

Thanks mate! But that was never a penalty, and i feel bad for winning the cup this way ...
I hope that this will cheer us up, and hopefully play better in the championship
