A equipa de hóquei em patins do Sport Lisboa e Benfica pode conquistar, este sábado, dia 2 de Novembro, a Taça Continental da modalidade. Os encarnados jogam a mão decisiva no seu pavilhão e sabem que o apoio do público não vai faltar. Vamos por partes. 
 Os encarnados conquistaram uma margem interessante na primeira-mão em Espanha quando venceram por 3-5. "Foi uma primiera mão em que conseguimos uma vantagem muito importante, no entanto temos consciência do que aquilo que fizemos em Espanha, o Vendrell pode vir fazer aqui à Luz. Temos que entrar ao mais alto nível, temos que estar muito fortes desde início, não deixar que o Vendrell assuma o jogo", refere João Rodrigues.  Carlos López, uma das estrelas do plantel benfiquista, sabe que a motivação de poder ganhar um título em casa pode ser decisiva mas assinala que, na Luz, o Benfica tem que ser competente. "Temos de estar concentrados para que o Vendrell não acredite que pode ganhar", diz López.  Se nos jogadores a motivação é palavra de ordem, nos dirigentes encarnados ela não deixa de estar presente. José Trindade, presidente da secção de hóquei em patins benfiquista, refere que os jogadores estão motivados para arrecadarem novo troféu europeu.  "Desta vez podemos vencer a Taºa Continental, a jogar e dizer que foi por mérito próprio frente a um adversário muito competitivo", atira. O jogo entre portugueses e espanhóis é este sábado às 20h e pode ser visto em directo na Benfica TV. O hóquei em patins nacional espera que mais uma equipa portuguesa seja feliz numa competição internacional. Caso vença, o Benfica torna-se o clube português mais bem classificado nesta prova. O FCPorto já venceu uma Taça Continental, perdendo três vezes, o Sporting perdeu todas as finais que disputou, o OC Barcelos conquistou uma Taça Continental eo Paço de Arcos perdeu a sua única final nesta competição europeia. O Vendrell nunca atingiu sequer uma final, até este ano. Têm a palavra agora os jogadores do Benfica. Sejam enormes e no fim alguém vai sorrir.  Que seja o Benfica. Que seja Portugal.

Carlos López: “Motivação poder ganhar um título ante os nossos adeptos”

Tal como Pedro Nunes, também Carlos López lançou, esta sexta-feira, a partida da 2.ª mão da Taça Continental ante o Vendrell.

 

“É uma equipa forte, trabalha junta há muitos anos. Vai ser complicado, difícil. Ganhámos lá, mas a vantagem é curta e temos de trabalhar como se estivesse 0-0”, alertou.

 

O avançado argentino destacou que ansiedade é uma faca de dois gumes, mas a experiência em finais pode ser favorável. “A ansiedade pode estar a nosso favor ou contra. Esta equipa sabe o que é jogar finais e ganhá-las. Temos de estar concentrados para que o Vendrell não acredite que pode ganhar”, frisou.

 

O Benfica tem a possibilidade de conquistar um título ante os seus adeptos, algo que Carlos López deseja muito. “Acho que ganhar em casa é muito importante, pois todos os títulos que ganhámos foi fora. É uma motivação poder ganhar um título ante os nossos adeptos”, considerou.

 

O Benfica – Vendrell está agendado para as 20 horas de sábado, no Pavilhão Fidelidade.

Miralem Sulejmani, 24 anos, ainda não teve oportunidade de jogar a titular pelos encarnados. Castigado pelas sucessivas lesões, o extremo soma apenas 76 minutos em quatro jogos. A Sociedade Anónima Desportiva (SAD) do Benfica encerrou a época passada com prejuízos de 10,4 milhões de euros, uma melhoria de 11,1% face ao ano anterior. Apesar dos resultados operacionais positivos (7,1 milhões de euros), o peso da dívida fez o passivo consolidado subir de 426 milhões para 440 milhões de euros. A SAD “encarnada”, aliás, mantém-se numa situação de capitais próprios negativos (23,8 milhões de euros), conhecida habitualmente como falência técnica. O EBITDA consolidado (lucros antes de juros, impostos, depreciação e amortizações) atingiu um montante positivo de 48,1 milhões de euros. As receitas operacionais (excluindo transacções de passes) atingiram os 88,3 milhões de euros, o segundo valor mais alto da história da SAD benfiquista, representando um recuo de 3,1% face ao ano anterior. Os prémios da UEFA (21,7 milhões) e os patrocínios (16,9 milhões) representam as parcelas mais importantes das receitas do Benfica. Já os custos operacionais subiram 10,8% para 92,6 milhões de euros. Os custos com pessoal (que subiram de 48,1 milhões para 50,4 milhões) continuam a ser a parcela mais pesada. Na época de 2012-13, o Benfica salienta o facto de ter registado o valor mais elevado de sempre em termos de receitas obtidas com a venda de jogadores, citando as transferências de Javi García para o Manchester City e de Axel Witsel para o Zenit São Petersburgo, no valor total de 51,5 milhões de euros.
