Coleman - fans would never accept him I think. I would give him a go.

No young upcoming Greek manager worth taking a shot at?

Greece just doesn't produce them. Looks like Aris will be the only team in the top 5 to go into the new season with a Greek coach.

That's very concerning.

I mean in the grand scheme, it's low.

1/ Greece has prehistoric stadiums
2/ Greece is not producing enough youth players
3/ The EPO manages the league in a poor fashion
4/ Important teams can't get promoted due to idiocy: Panaxaiki, Kalamata, Iraklis, AEL etc
5/ Greek football gets little to no international exposure
6/ Greek managers are rare in the big teams

We are now in a post Olympiacos world. The league is far more competitive now and the EPO controlled by AEK almost entirely. The only hope is that PAO breaks away from PAOK and AEK politically.

In basketball news, Olympiacos BC just purchased the Peace and Friendship Arena off the state. Now Olympiacos can expand the capacity from 12,000 to 15,000.
